Our easily administered, comprehensive Organizational Health Assessments help teams, companies, networks, collaboratives, and communities measure the underlying health and Regenerative Capacity of their design and operations, align around actionable solutions, and unleash dormant potential.
The Organizational Health Index (OHI) is an easily administered, comprehensive baseline assessment of the underlying health and Regenerative Capacity of the design and operations of an organization. By monitoring and evaluating underlying health and Regenerative Capacity over time, our clients can address underlying issues and create the conditions for thriving, resilient teams, organizations, networks, collaboratives, and communities. While the assessments themselves are comprehensive and revealing, the true power of the OHI is the conversations that emerge from the results.
The OHI returns a numeric score on a 0-5 scale that places an organization in one of three states:
| Degenerative (0 - 2.5) Current structures are inadequate to develop a healthy environment where members thrive, decisionmaking is both active and distributed, communication is cycling relevant information and partnerships are diverse and abundant. As a result, the Regenerative Capacity of the system is declining. | Transactional (2.6 - 3.75) Current structures are transactional in nature and inconsistent in creating an environment where members thrive, decision-making is both active and distributed, communication is cycling relevant information and partnerships are diverse and abundant. As a result, the Regenerative Capacity of the system is static and siloed. | Regenerative (3.76 - 5.0) Members are actively designing and evolving structures that create an environment where members thrive, decisionmaking is both active and distributed, communication is cycling relevant information and partnerships are diverse and abundant. As a result, the Regenerative Capacity of the system is thriving and abundance and resilience are recurring outcomes. |
The OHI is a flexible and scalable tool that supports systems on many levels. We offer:
